Diwali Food and Clothing Drive

In the spirit of Diwali, a festival celebrated with joy and generosity, we organized a meaningful food and clothing drive aimed at supporting refugees in Hong Kong. This initiative was led by our dedicated committee, who reached out to our student body to encourage participation in this compassionate effort.

Throughout the campaign, we received an overwhelming response from students eager to contribute. They generously donated clothing items, ranging from warm jackets and sweaters to everyday wear, ensuring that the refugees would have access to essential garments during the colder months. Our committee meticulously gathered and sorted these donations, ultimately collecting a total of twelve bags filled with clothing.

The drive was not just about collecting items; it was a powerful reminder of the importance of community and compassion during the festive season. By coming together to support those in need, we embodied the true spirit of Diwali, which emphasizes the values of kindness, sharing, and the triumph of light over darkness. We are grateful to all the students who contributed and helped make this initiative a success, and we look forward to continuing our efforts in supporting the community in Hong Kong.
